Food & Essential Supplies

We provide free food, groceries, and essential supplies to individuals and families in need. Our programs help address food insecurity while ensuring access to fresh and nutritious options.

Support may include

  • Weekly free grocery distribution
  • Fresh produce and prepared hot meals
  • Hygiene and household supplies
  • Free diaper program for families
  • Community distributions through Feed the Hood

How to Get Help

Who it's for
Individuals and families in East Oakland experiencing food insecurity. No ID, paperwork, or proof of income required.
When

7800 MacArthur Blvd., Oakland, CA 94605, plus pop-up sites throughout Deep East Oakland.
What to bring
Nothing is required. Bring reusable bags or a cart if you have them, and a friend or neighbor who could use groceries too.

Housing & Homeless Support

We support unhoused residents and families at risk of housing instability through outreach, advocacy, and resource navigation. Our work focuses on dignity, safety, and long-term housing solutions.

Support may include

  • Street outreach and direct supply drops
  • Housing referrals and application help
  • Advocacy and one-on-one case support
  • Keep People Housed Oakland eviction-prevention help
  • Connections to local partner agencies

Unhoused neighbors, people living in vehicles or encampments, and renters facing eviction or displacement.
When

What to bring
Any documents you already have — notices, IDs, or paperwork. Nothing is required to start a conversation with our team.

Wellness Resources & Outreach

We connect residents to resources that support physical, emotional, and community well-being. Through outreach and partnerships, we help individuals access the care and support they need.

  • Older Adult Coffee Hour and senior support
  • Community support and connection
  • Warm hand-offs to trusted local providers
